Niara Adero is a native Californian and a graduate of Florida A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. Ms. Adero currently works as a Senior Engineer at Procter and Gamble. Her work has included the development and design of a process for a micronutrient delivery beverage for low income markets in South American countries that addressed the malnutrition issues affecting young children. Her current work has included product design and consumer research for a innovative and life changing feminine protection product.
Ms. Adero has been active in the community where she lives in Cincinnati. Ms. Adero is currently Vice Chair of the Economic Development Committee for the Mayor’s Young Professional Cabinet. She is also a Life Skills Facilitator and Tutor in Math and Sciences for the Youth Motivational Learning Center in Cincinnati. She has also had a leadership and founding role in New School Cincinnati an organization dedicated to the retention of young urban professionals in the area. Ms. Adero is Vice President of the local chapter of the FAMU Alumni Association and is a past officer in the NSBE-Cincinnati Alumni Extension. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
