John R. Moore III is the Strategic Partnership Chair for SEM Link Inc. As Chair he is responsible for determining and working with organizations SEM Link partners with to help increase exposure in the Atlanta community and beyond; he is also responsible for obtaining necessary resources to achieve SEM Link’s mission. John has a proven record as a leader in his company, other organizations and in his community.
John is currently employed with Georgia Power. He has held various positions at Georgia Power in the Environmental Affairs Department, and in the Safety and Health Organization. John earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene and Safety from Saint Augustine’s College and a master’s of science degree in Environmental and Industrial Hygiene from the University of Cincinnati. He has completed numerous leadership development programs during his career.
In the community, he has served in various organizations as a volunteer, mentor, and active member. John currently serves on the board for the American Association for Blacks in Energy; and is an active member of the National Urban League Young Professionals, and American Industrial Hygiene Association.
He is a native of Richmond, Virginia and enjoys writing, traveling and sporting activities.
