Dr. Tedric Dewayne Campbell is a native of Cleveland, MS. Tedric graduated Magna Cum Laude receiving his Bachelor of Science in the
spring of 2001 from historic Tougaloo College. That fall, he entered the doctoral program in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at The Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. His research entailed developing a novel, biologically safe hydrogel for implementation into an injured spinal cord. He successfully defended his dissertation in April 2007 as the first African American male to do so in the Chemistry department at FSU. On September 23, 2006 he married his college friend, Angela Kersh of Brandon, MS. Tedric and his wife reside in Atlanta, GA. They are members of Elizabeth Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Craig L. Oliver, Sr. Tedric is actively involved in the Doorkeepers Ministry. He is a senior scientist at Excellatron Solid State, LLC and an active member of “the oldest and the coldest” Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc
