Donate Your Lunch Money

Is it your family, your friends, your career, your hobbies, your personal and professional goals?  At Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link, we care about K-12 student achievement and career exploration in math and science.  We want to enhance the educational experiences for youths by connecting them with positive role models and outside of the classroom learning experiences that will allow them to develop their academic skills and be exposed to STEM careers. We believe that even if children don’t pursue STEM careers, achieving academically in these subjects will teach them skills that are transferable to other academic subject and areas of life.  However, we can’t achieve what we care about as an organization if individuals don’t care about our organization and our mission.

Research of philanthropic giving shows that approximately 60-80% of the funds that non-profits receive that provide the resources necessary to achieve their mission comes from financial contributions made by individuals. That’s why it’s so important that we get as many individuals to care enough to make a financial contribution to provide the resources necessary for us to achieve our mission. Our individual donor campaign is named “Donate Your Lunch Money” because we want people to know that a small amount of money such as your daily  lunch money (approximately $5) can truly make a difference in supporting the mission of a nonprofit organization such as SEM Link.  We also accept larger donations as well.

All financial contributions you make to the organization are tax deductible.
