Our mission at Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link, Inc. (SEM Link) is to promote student achievement and career exploration in math and science while increasing student exposure to  science, technology, engineering and mathematics communities.

Company History

Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link, Inc. (SEM Link), a tax-exempt nonprofit organization, was founded in 2005 in Atlanta, Georgia on the premise that exposure to members of the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) communities is critical to student achievement and career exploration.  We connect K-12 students to individuals with backgrounds in science, technology, engineering and mathematics in order to expose them to positive adult role models that have a passion and expertise for these areas. SEM Link through its two core programs, Experimental Design Program and Math and Science Career Academy, has enhanced educational experiences for over 1000 Metro Atlanta youths. In January 2010, SEM Link expanded its programming to the San Francisco Bay Area.
